The Fed Calls Time on QT
The Federal Reserve just announced it’ll stop shrinking its balance sheet—aka quantitative tightening—on December 1st. That means all that extra liquidity squeezed out of markets over the past months is now officially coming to an end.
What does it mean for you? More stability, less tightening pressure on stocks and crypto, and potentially a bit more fuel for risk assets. Of course, whether markets rocket or just breathe a sigh of relief will depend on other factors, but the QT era is officially wrapping up.
